It has been agreed that responsibility for the Newquay Boating Lake will transfer from The Borough of Restormel to Newquay Town Council. However Newquay Town Council required that the lake be fully dredged before the handover. This dredging work started in mid January - and fell foul of the cold weather at end of January. By mid-February, however, the work was well underway. The following pictures show some of this activity.
